Speaking to All but All do not Listen

North Miami Beach, FL Septmber 7, 2009
A.H. Schectman

It is very much like classrooms in schools throughout this country. Let me be clear; it is very MUCH Like classrooms all over the world.  Granted there are those students who actually want and Like to Learn.  I think these are a tiny minority.  I believe from years of experience that you can put students in front of teachers but learning does not always take place.  A great many teachers will attest to the reality that students do learn but much of that that is different than that which is written in the teacher's planbook.

If this is true why should the President believe if he speaks to the nation that the nation will listen to his message?  It was clearly demonstrated in the negative reactions to his surrogates in the town-hall gatherings where hostility was shown.  These citizens did not want to hear their President's message.  He could speak (read; teach) in person or over the media but he was tuned out.  His listeners heard "SOCIALISM" while he was articulating a national health care system.  He was explaining care for all despite attacks by the insurance cartels.  His audience heard TAXES AND MORE TAXES AND MORE GOVERNMENT.  Presidents have addressed school children with the same message many times.  The import of this essentially same message is to stay in school, apply yourselves and learn

In which country do those parent's live where they will keep their children out of school to prevent a president's message from being heard?
