September 11, 2001 was a day of infamy. Its perpetrators put themselves beyond our grasp by killing themselves along with their victims. Instead of car bombs that kill only a few at a time, the planes taken over by a few well trained murderers shook the underpinnings of a great democracy and brought on a senseless war against a people who were not involved. The plotter still lives to taunt us from hiding places that should have been found. Why can we still not find Osama bin Laden? The thousands who died that day re still not avenged. 9/11 was truly a day unlike any other day. Setting it right still needs to be done.
Our faith in God is corrupted. How, could God allow unending deaths to continue to pile up because of this one act? How did our country’s leadership become so corrupted that it does nothing except punish Iraq and Afghanistan? The unleashed “terrorists” laugh at our puny efforts to extract them from the masses who no longer believe an evil was done but laugh at our puny efforts to make right what is so manifestly wrong. It does not get better and the young idealists of our nation are still asked and are willing to give up their lives in a senseless conflict. We are at the point where another world war will be started from sparks this conflict will ignite. The world is divided between East and West and there will be no winners when non-Muslims try to unite to defeat the Muslim world where to die a martyr is greeted with joy.
Today is the anniversary of a day unlike any other day. A great nation was brought to its knees and has yet to arise and become the inspiration it once was. It is so sad to know that our nation is defiled, denied, desecrated and defied by masses that are taught their Allah is the one true God. Our diplomats run around like ants and they are stepped on by the might and mass of an opposition growing stronger in opposition to us day by day. The lives of our people are sacrificed on the altars of Mosques where daily prayers for our destruction are shouted out and our flags are burned and our ineffective leader, G.W. Bush is burned in effigy.
This is a day unlike any other day. It is a day of mourning and feckless anger that feeds our frustration of no longer being a light unto the other nations of the world. We are seen as the perpetrators and the cause for the unrest despite our still bleeding wounds. Our military might is held in check for fear of causing that spark to set off the war of two worlds. Allah’s unending war demands that all bow to him. The other is a free world where belief is not a pre-condition to equality and people try to build a new and better world where ALL are truly equal.
Today is a day - truly unlike any other day.
