America has won its wars over there. Our soldiers have died and are still dying over there. So, the war must be still going on. We are arguing that point and the war crowd is losing for so many Americans are against it, against the war crowd and against Mr. Bush, the poster boy for war. Dead and dying soldiers are the point.
So, let us discount the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and look to the instigators in near by countries who are either in the war or making it look like it and our war crowd wants to take them on. These countries are Syria and Iran and we should include a most un-war-like country like Saudi Arabia. The Saudis’ inscrutability makes it difficult to figure out if they are helping out our enemies and if they our enemy too. There are not enough people and soldiers in Saudi Arabia to worry about although there is something about its wealth that makes the combatants in Iraq and Afghanistan stand up to fight – for what? Well, mostly it is against America and the Jews who are egging America on. Our war crowd feeds on such problems of figuring out whom to go after next time.
After much pondering I think I have figured something out. Success here at home is encountering the enemy that is fought so fiercely over there. They fight our movies most of all. The life portrayed in these motion pictures is a life most of the insurgents over there would like to have in their homes but have dedicated themselves to eradicate all evidence of subversion of what is clean and decent in Muslim life. So, what it comes down to is a battle between the haves and have-nots. The have-nots are declared the victims of America by Syria and Iran. Most thinkers believe that it is the evil leaders of those countries (both sides) who must be dealt with and then everything will go back to being normal. In Saudi Arabia, the back-stabbing while smiling in your face goes on and will continue to go on for that is a cultural trait where so many of its Princes want to get to be the top dog – or the king of Saudi Arabia.
Our war crowd does not really care. They want a war to continue and bring on the rest of the nuts who are on the side of “militants” in Iraq and Afghanistan. And, let us not overlook that kook Chavez who is holding oil over our heads in Venezuela and all the other co-conspirators who want to see America brought down.
Our war crowd is identified by their irrationality about anyone who opposes them – here or abroad. They would take away our right to disagree and make concentration camps where they can shove dissenters in or send them abroad to countries for questioning where torture is the rule. Our war crowd is in the saddle and rides the War President Bush onward – to what end? I think you have the right to tell the war crowd and its leader they must stop and let reason prevail.
