High Power Raw Talent Available

North Miami Beach, FL October 6, 2006
A.H. Schectman

On page A20 of the NY Times this morning was recognition of Bill Clinton’s high power raw talent.  He is out on the campaign trail where he is welcomed. The mind of Americans are ambivalent about his checkered history as being almost indicted by Congress for his all too human misdeeds as a sexual human man.  He had the Presidential powers to do what his successor is now doing to make war and roll back benefits earned by the workers of this land.

He is a powerful speaker without the histrionic and emotional accoutrements employed by religious quacks and unscrupulous politicians.  In a time when the Republican control of our government is slipping because of its hubris and flawed leadership, his hard-hitting telling the truth as it is – is attractive to needy Democrats.  He is all over the map helping Democratic candidates to get the message out that they are available when the Republican and Conservative voters wake up to the fact that they have been following a pied piper as president and pious leaders in Congress and the Senate.

It is too late for Clinton as President to appoint moderate or Liberal judges.  The court is now Conservative and will continue a decade-old trend to back away from the promise to Americans that their Social Security and job security are safe.  If you notice the machinations of the rulers of the Walmart empire you can plainly see that their idea of making profits not only come from low priced goods imported from countries like China and Indonesia but from hiring part-timers so they will not have to pay for health care and other “benefits” that once were thought of as automatic – coming along with the job.

Bill Clinton isn’t the only voice that people will listen to for it has overtones of honesty and clarity despite his sexual appetites.  I am sure that out there in America is another voice of reason and clarity just like Bill Clinton to which people will listen and make up their minds that they have had enough of the lies and actions of a sleazy administration that is fighting a war that need not be fought and which has paid off its “base” by giving them America to exploit.

In the same paper is the report that the vast underclass of students is suddenly  the target of evangelicals and other religious fundamentalists who are afraid that in their zeal to own America’s mind they have lost their children to Mamon and Satan.  It is the genius of a religious man like Bill Clinton to make the distinction between civic understanding and responsibility and the dictates of conservative religious groups that demand conformity with their beliefs.
