BARKING DOGS, ZIONISM IS RACISM & PEOPLE OF THE BOOK
It seems that Jews are all things to all men. A new book about a 19th
Century Pope who called Jews "barking dogs" exposes his anti-Semitic
behavior. At the same time this book's publication is announced, the
Conference on Racism is using the United Nations bulletin board to heat up
world opinion as the Arab brotherhood brands Israel (hence all Jews) as
Racist Colonialists whose chief activity is persecuting Palestinians. Last
night a lay student of Rabbinic lore explained why the approach of Rosh
Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur (the Jewish Day of Atonement)
called for a need to review the last words of Moses in the Book of
Deuteronomy. In Temple Sinai of North Dade last night we heard that Moses
stressed avoidance of telling tales against your neighbors.

Being Jewish in any age is a complex experience. Experiencing being Jewish
at all ages is sometimes a confusing experience. When you are a baby (and a
boy) an operation on a private part makes you a Jew. You weren't asked and
your parents, while suffering for your cries, made a big party and invited
the whole world to witness it.

While growing up you discovered that Jews were different from non-Jews.
You were asked in school if you were "Christmas or Chanukah". This made a
difference in how you were treated in some quarters. In former days if you
were smart enough you found that quotas were used to keep you out of higher
education. Today you are condemned in some quarters for being too smart for
your own good and, "Why if you are so smart are you blamed all over the
world for dumb behavior in the 'Holy Land'"?

When you read history you learned the Christian interpretation how you
killed "Christ" who was the messiah for non-Jews while being a Jew. And,
this happened two thousand years ago and you are still guilty. You found
that your Holy Book was an old, outmoded Testament replaced by a "New
Testament". You heard everywhere that you "jewed" people down in business
transactions and were real smart and made the best doctors. It seems that
Jews are all things to all men and can't win for losing. What do you think?
Carol's Evaluation: 10 out of 10.
