FIGHTING "GLOBAL WARMING"

Nobody wants to fight global warming except the global warming warriors.
This is too big a canvas to look at closely. You have to step away from the
globe - say up in space on one of our satellites - to get the big picture.
Anyway, if you do that, you will not see the warming because the gorgeous
blues of seas and the puffy clouds make too pretty a picture to focus on -
"global warming".

There are other things that do not register as global warming even if we
see them. For instance, take the belching smokestacks in some areas that
send up in black smoke caused by burning fossil fuels with which our planet
was once blessed. If you are near such smoking chimneys you are probably
used to them, do not notice them and do not connect them with "global
warming".

We all smile at "Elsie the Cow" who anthropomorphically adorns the
advertisements of certain milk products. She has a human-like face and
smiles benevolently at all. She, however, is representative of the
strolling hamburger meat known as "beef" who collectively emit methane gas
destructively into the atmosphere - much more so than you or I. Collectively
we all contribute to "global warming".

Clear-cutting forests is favored by the lumber, paper, and wood-product
industries. Such practices however reduce Nature's way to clean up the air,
lessen pollution and help to reduce "global warming".

Most politicians are definitely dedicated to the industrial dollar and
protect activities that increase the pollutants that will produce "global
warming".

But, hey - what actually does "global warming mean? If you don't know by
now, it is probably too late.
Carol's Evaluation:10 out of 10.
