HIDDEN MEANINGS
It is funny how we read hidden meanings into things. I guess almost
anything you say can be inspected closely and found to be filled with menace
or mystery. This says more about persons who look for such meanings than
about what it is you have said.
"Cooling It" simply refers to a minor happenstance with a minor and is now
over although not forgotten - forgiven because of the minority of the
situation and, after letting it sit, the situation no longer is there to
affect the me that I am. Got it?
You should not look for a hidden meaning in the fact that this is being
written at the stroke of 5:00 a.m. I actually started writing after making
my breakfast at 3:45 a.m. and after checking and responding to my e-mails
after that. I am up because I am up. I tried, but could not get back to
sleep when the eyes popped open at about 3:00 a.m.
Let me tell you that this morning I finally found the correct recipe for
oatmeal. My bowl did not overflow in the microwave and was of the correct
consistency. I added evaporated milk (purchased for power outages caused by
hurricanes) and some sweet and low and it was goooood!
While lying in bed not sleeping a thought came to me. I wondered what to
do with an extra and very new computer. I cannot see more than one monitor
screen at a time and cannot type on two keyboards, but perhaps I can hook up
two CPU's in tandem and get more power and memory. It sounded good at
around 3:00 a.m. and sounds even better as I type this now.
I saw this hookup at Hal's house in Portola Valley. He now has three
computer towers in his office and one on his desk that he wants to get rid
of. His son was given a new Dell and he just bought a new Dell Laptop for
Denise and Emma. I gave Hal my Librex laptop after he extracted all my files
from it. It has a copy of FRAMEWORK on it. Framework is the windows
program his Forefront group wrote before WINDOWS came out. I liked that
program. Just the facts, folks - no hidden meanings. Carol's
