WE'RE GOING TO MOVE: HOLD THE CREATIVITY

Now I know that many of you who receive THINKING ALLOWED do not immediately
sit down to read and savor my written thoughts. I have heard that some
print hardcopies of my essays put them in a pile to read another day. That
day is put off until the pile has to be dealt with. By this time the
immediacy of my reactions to world and local events is gone. But, so it
goes.

We are going to move. There are actually two moves involved. One is here
in Florida. We have purchased a larger apartment on the same floor in the
Moorings where Carol's father and mother set up housekeeping after a
lifetime in Metropolitan New York. Their apartment was a one-bedroom and
one and ½ bath investment. We now live there and have upgraded the kitchen
with new cabinets, appliances, lighting and tile flooring. The half bath
has been equipped with a shower making it full service. By adding a Murphy
Bed it can be argued that we made this apartment into a two bedroom 2 bath
little gem. All in all it is a nice little place but is too small for people
who will sell their New Jersey 9 room house with a two-car garage and
property opposite a stream with a wooded island in its center.

We will sell the New Jersey house as expeditiously as possible and return
to live in our small place until the renovations in the new, larger place
are completed. This is lot of work and we realize that a great deal of time
will be consumed in these moves. Thus, my "creativity" and proprietorship of
THINKING ALLOWED will be put on hold. This will be until I can come up for
air and resume printing out my thoughts. These have sort of dried up in the
necessity to think of which pieces of furniture will fit where and what
shall be sold in garage sales or should be get someone to conduct an "estate
sale?

So, why don't you send me your thoughts on some of my old essays or on your
own concerns? I promise to respond if you want me to and if the crisis of
the moment will allow.
Carol's Evaluation: 10 out of 10.
